  • Read: Allen Sekula,The Body and The Archive
  • Review Lynda.com videos, and begin working on your project. Next week we will have in-progress meetings where you will show me what you did, how you are doing it, and what you want to do in the next two weeks. Remember to save your file often, and back it up. Your final image must contain elements from at least three sources: 1) digital image from a physical book/object that you made, 2) an image from a digital database, and 3) an image from your personal archive.

Studio Day: One-on-one/group meetings. You will share in progress work, and have some time to work in class.

  • Homework: Prepare your project for critique. Please consult the "Synthetic Image" for all details. Your final project must include a flattened .jpg, as well as a .psd with all layers and actions in tact.

Week 15 Critiques: Assignment 3: Three Shot Movie
Have all of your footage assembled into a cut of your movie. We will be screening them and giving in-progress critique towards your final NEXT WEEK. Your class is on Monday after Thanksgiving break, so be sure to make the best of your time if you are going away. 

Dec. 8
Week 16 FINAL FINAL Critiques: Assignment 3: Three Shot Movie. 
This is also your final due date for everything in this class!
